Sprinkles Date

On Saturday night Drew and I went out for dessert. I love dessert, [and fun hip hop which is entirely beside the point, but we did dance the whole drive there.] I am a self proclaimed lover of all desserts minus cake. Yes, minus cake. I have always eaten cake as though it was a spoiled veggie, not a rebellious sweet. Well, Drew said that Sprinkles cupcakes are actually legit. He, like myself, has the same philosophy about cake so I opted to trust him. Yeah, we're the ones that did an ice cream at our wedding rather than a cake. Well taking his advice we went out for dessert at Sprinkles cupcakes to bash all of the craze. We weren't necessarily taking a risk by going to Sprinkles because there is a strategically placed Yogurtland right next to the Scottsdale Sprinkles location, so yes, I was intending on having Yogurtland. Well [at Sprinkles], the line was out the door, the flavors were overwhelming, and I fell in love. I fell in love before I even ate the cupcakes. I loved the decor, the ambiance, and the sweet girls behind the counter; I decided that if their personalities were to take the life form of a food, it would be a cupcake. After falling in love before the flavor, I chose my flavors. We figured we'd get 4 just to taste a few different flavors, and to supply sweet leftovers for a couple of days to come {the chosen flavors were: Key Lime Pie, Strawberry, Dark Chocolate, and Red Velvet}. Well, we inhaled all four within minutes, seriously- minutes. and we were absolutely delighted. I can now proudly say, I love cake...only done right with nice little people behind the counter, and such tasty flavors...so basically; I love Sprinkles.
